Online Pedagogy

Distance education is most effective when it uses a system of dynamic and interrelated components to foster a learning community. It should utilise evidence based pedagogy that includes a range of online and offline activities which are suitable for the learning needs of students. This includes the use of quality collaborative learning strategies in online environments that enhances individual student learning which can be facilitated by technologies that are carefully selected to best suit the needs and capabilities of both students and teachers.
