The Aspire Program seeks students who are passionate, curious, willing to step outside their comfort zone, show potential for or would benefit from continued education including University, a team player, and good school attendance (>80%).  The vision of the Aspire Program is that every young person in the Northern Territory can access tertiary education – to always be connected, inspired and supported.  The Program facilitates age-appropriate opportunities for NT school students to repeatedly connect with the horizons of higher education, possible careers and life-long learning.

Applications are only open to Year 10 students. The Aspire Program is an equity access program for young people who experience education disadvantage in one of the following categories:

  • Geographical remoteness
  • Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
  • Refugee Background
  • First in family to go to University or
  • Financial Hardship
