Our Humanities faculty is excited to be offering a new Stage 1 general pathways subject!
Research Practices is a semester length, 10 credit NTCET subject - which will be taught by Ms.Toni Smid, a Nationally Certified Highly Accomplished Teacher. Toni has taught investigative and inquiry skills in Humanities subjects for 17+ years and also has an honours degree in History.
In Research Practices, students choose from a range of Health and Humanities topics, and use their interest in this topic to develop and improve their research skills.
These skills are the key to success in many other Stage 1 and Stage 2 subjects, and are the foundation for further academic pursuits. Students will have the flexibility to modify and refine their research questions during the semester.
