Students who wish to study senior secondary subjects may enrol with NTSDE. Our students come from a range of backgrounds including:
NT students may be unable to easily access schooling where they live for a range reasons. Reasons can include the distance between where a student lives and their nearest school, as well as their ability to access a school due to due to transport, weather, or environmental conditions. NT students can at times be travelling, or living interstate or overseas. If you are in this situation, contact us to find out how we may be able to help you.
NT students may have situations where they need to access distance education. Reasons may include that their home school cannot offer a certain subject or they may have a timetable clash. Students may study with NTSDE due to factors such as sporting or artistic commitments, medical conditions, learning needs. Contact us if you have any questions about how we may be able to assist with your education.
Students over the age of 18 years who have not been enrolled in a school for the preceding 12 months may apply to enrol at NTSDE. Conditions apply, including completing a criminal history check at your own cost, and meeting attendance minimums. Student enrolment arrangements are negotiated between the student’s home school coordinator and NTSDE’s coordinator.
